Sälstens udde
Between Sälsten's bathing area and Hernöverken lies Sälstens udde, a new residential area with villa plots and condominiums in a beachfront location and with fantastic evening sun. Together with Tobaks, a metropolis for entrepreneurship, and Hernöverken with businesses and sports centers, a completely new district is being created next to Sälsten's bathing area.

Sälstens Udde is located on a slope down to the water where the sun sets over Älandsfjärden. The popular bathing area at Sälsten is right next door.
In the new residential area, inviting gathering places and lighted walking paths are planned. A walking path from the site to the center along the waterline is also included in the vision.
The closest neighbors today are Hernöverken and Tobaks. At Hernöverken, the Härnöverken sports center is currently being created with a gym, golf simulator an climbing wall. The area has emerged together with Tobaks as a dynamic place for business in Härnösand
July 2023
The municipality of Härnösand appeals the Land and Environment Court's judgment and applies for a right of review in the next judicial instance.
June 2023
The Land and Environment Court decides that the adopted detailed plan should be annulled. The decision has to do with how the road within the residential area should be owned and managed.
July 2022
The detailed plan is appealed by local residents and the Härnösand Nature Conservation Association.
June 2022
The community council adopts a new detailed plan for the area that allows housing construction.
September 2021
The possibility to book plots opens.
Spring 2019
Westerlinds applies for planning permission for Sälstens Udde and the detailed planning work begins.
