Bryggaren Strand
Bryggaren Strand is a new residential area by Södra sundet with 15 terraced houses and an apartment building with 28 apartments behind the terraced houses. The area is right by the water with its own jetty at the far end of Kattastrand. Westerlind Försäljning AB is behind the project.
The project
The 15 terraced houses are located in a row along the shoreline with only a promenade between the houses and the boat dock. The townhouses are 111 square meters in size and have an open floor plan that provides sea views straight through the houses. The townhouses have been sold as condominiums.
In the apartment building there are 28 condominiums, in sizes from 1.5 rooms and a kitchen of 51 square meters to a 5 room apartment at the top of 200 square meters. All apartments have large balconies with sea views.
The area
Bryggaren Strand is adjacent to Kanaluddens strandpark.
Bryggaren Strand is located at the far end of Kattastrand and adjacent to Kanaluddens Strandpark. The residents have a view of Kanaludden, the swimming pool and the city center.
The location by Södra sundet provides opportunities for both boating and swimming in the summer and in the winter when the ice settles, you can go ice fishing, skiing or skating on the ice.
The site of Bryggaren Strand was formerly home to Hernö Bryggeri, which closed in 1973 and was demolished in 1982. The rest of Kattastrand is now an area for small industries and businesses, but there are plans to convert the whole area into a residential area.
