Myrans IP
At Myrans IP, the entire area has been developed to a center for football in Härnösand. It now include a full-size, competition-approved 11-a-side pitch including stands and a service building. Other pitches has also been renovated and parking facilities improved.
The project
For a long time, Myrans IP has been used mainly for children's and youth football on several different pitches. There have been no service buildings and parking facilities have not been the best.
With a developed football area, Myran also opens up for senior games and greater opportunities to organize cups, competitions and other events. This has been done:
South of the road
- 1 full-size 11-a-side pitch with artificial grass and approved dimensions for senior games, with stands and fencing around the pitch.
- 1 smaller 11-a-side pitch next to the larger pitch.
- 1 new service building adjacent to the larger pitch.
- Expanded and improved parking.
North of the road
- 2 new 7-a-side pitches for children and youth football.
- Improved parking.
Further down Volontärvägen
- 2 pcs. 5 against 5 pitches.
- 1 st. 7 against 7 plan.
The area
Myrans IP is located on Härnön, on the outskirts of Härnösand, with the residential area of Eriksdal and the forest as its nearest neighbors. The area has long been the main place for football for the youngest children and young people.
In close proximity is also Myran's flying field, which is run by the flying club.

The project is finished.
May 2023
The reconstruction of the football field starts.
March 2022
The Community Board decides that the extended 11-a-side pitch will have artificial turf.
November 2021
The City Council approves the investment.
October 2021
A proposal for the development of the Myran football field is presented.
