Härnösand's winter paradise with several different trails and exercise tracks, slalom slope, nature reserve, shelter with barbecue area, a viewing tower, restaurant and café. Vårdkasberget is worth a visit at any time of year.

The water flows down the steep mountainside in Västanåfallet. There is also an exhibition about the Västanå ironworks that existed here in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Mjällån river flows through Mjällådalen. There are several miles of hiking trails with plenty of rest areas to rest at.

There are always interesting exhibitions at Västernorrland Museum. Among the permanent exhibitions are Forntidsresan - Nio tusen år av människors spår and Stora makter - Från 1050-tal till 1680-tal. At the Open Air Museum you can visit many buildings and environments from the past.
Högakustenbron stretches over the Ångerman River and is a full 1800 meters long. It is the fifth longest suspension bridge in Europe. Hotel Höga Kusten is located at the northern end of the bridge, where there are great viewpoints.
Sweden's largest car museum has 14 themed halls and offers a journey through time from 1899-1990. There are more than cars to look at, mopeds, cell phones, airplane engines and much more. There are also parking spaces for motorhomes.
Join a guided tour of Hemsö Fortress. It was the largest facility of the coastal defense and is the only one preserved of its kind. At a depth of 40 meters, 320 soldiers served. The environment is untouched and preserved, both inside and out. There is also a restaurant with a lovely view.
One of Sweden's finest neoclassical buildings. It contains furnishings from different eras, the altarpiece with motifs from Calvary by David von Cöln, the four chandeliers from the 17th century and the baptismal font, a Spanish Rococo work in silver from 1777.
