Children and family
Härnö Trail Kidz is an adventure course for both children and adults at Vårdkasen. The course is a few hundred meters long in a cozy spruce forest and on open rocks and consists of 13 different adventures.
There are plenty of nice swimming spots in Härnösand. Lovely sea baths with soft sandy beaches and warm lake baths. Enjoy the sea bath Smitingen or any of the other bathing places.
The swimming pool facility is located in central Härnösand and is an all-activity center for training, swimming, play and relaxation. Swim in the small adventure park, the intermediate pool or the 25-meter pool with diving tower. Or treat yourself to a moment at the lovely Stillery Spa & Relax with sauna on the roof terrace.
Västernorrlands museum always has interesting exhibitions and often organizes activities for children and young people. In summer, the open-air museum is open with hosts and activities in the old houses.
Technichus is a scientific adventure for young and old alike. Play brainball, catch rubies on the climbing wall, try programming or something else fun and educational.
The art gallery shows both contemporary and older art. There are often special activities for children, such as art bingo and the like. Check the website for current activities.
Sambiblioteket is home to Härnösand's library, a popular meeting place for children and young people with Bokskogen and Äpplet for the youngest and a separate youth corner. There are often activities and performances for children and young people.
Härnösand's spontaneous sports grounds are completely unmanned sports facilities that are open around the clock, in some cases adapted to the season or time of day. The sports facilities are not intended as playgrounds, which means that you must be responsible and considerate of other visitors.
