Hultoms brygga is located on northern Hemsön and, as the name suggests, there is a jetty here. There is also a toilet and sauna. From Hultoms brygga you have the whole of Hemsön within reach, including Hemsö Fortress, a former top-secret defense facility deep inside Storråberget.

Snättsundet is a narrow strait between northwestern Hemsön and Snättsundsholmarna. Snättsundet is a classic natural harbor and you can dock on any of the three islets. Here you can be on your own even if other boats are also there.

Beaches and other places

Bönskäret

Bönskäret at the south-eastern corner of Hemsön is a nice and popular beach for a day trip. However, it is not a suitable place to stay overnight.

Svenskär

Svenskär is a small island just south of Härnösand. On the mainland side is an old and beautiful fishing village.
