The region of Sundsvall and the High Coast is located in the northern part of Sweden where the green industry is making strong progress. By 2030, an estimated 100-120 billion SEK will be invested in the region, with an additional 100 billion in wind power and electricity distribution—creating thousands of new jobs and adding thousands of new residents.
Major projects include Europe’s largest hydrogen investment in Ånge and PTL’s new battery parts factory in Timrå, alongside expanding electricity-intensive industrial hubs. Our natural resources, energy production, and rich raw materials provide a foundation few can match. Generations of hard work have made this a resilient, thriving community.
